I don’t know why Dramabeans posted some caps about this drama without the excitement just like Oh My Lady, Cinderella Sisters and Personal Taste.
My personal taste will definitely recommend you people to watch this drama. I bet you guys will definitely going to love the characters and the development of the characters.
Frankly speaking, I think this drama is one of the best drama that I have ever seen. Regarding the whole concept of Realism, it is a very purely realist to the extent that the actors do get shy when they were acting. Compared to the foolish-like-innocent’ish idealistic Park Gae-In, I bet Seo Yoo Kyung is a better of a heroine.
Coming to this judgment, not of any favor, since I think I like Son Ye Jin more than Gong Hyo Jin, but I am being very objective by saying this; “Gong Hyo Jin as Seo Yoo Kyung brought me the real feeling of being in love compared to Son Ye Jin as Park Gae In”. It’s not that I’m criticizing them as actors, but more to the characters’ achievement.
When looking at how stubborn Seo Yoo Kyung and Park Gae In can be, I think people would only react naturally the way Seo Yoo Kyung does. This is basically grinning on the logic that a girl would only react poise and shut their mouth and get things work, rather than, just stare and blankly saying, I’m not doing it because I’m stubborn.
I know there are kinda weird things like, how can a girl confess without any shame, bla bla bla, like what Seo Yoo Kyung did. But, hey, this is being realistic people. She knows what she wants and just speak it up. The thing I frustrate most about the character Park Gae In is that, “IS IT SO HARD TO UNDERSTAND???!!!” It’s driving you nuts people. I know there are people like that, but in reality, of the majority, nope. Once you are assure with your heart, SAY IT!
Like how simple-minded are both the characters, the whole idea of foolishness is totally there. But let’s see who is more stupid when it comes to love. I shall say that Seo Yoo Kyung would be more stupid that she did not even realise that Kim San likes her. But, however, the reason is because she is affirmed with the love of Chef. The Chef has a very strong character, though he says anything bluntly without thinking of how it can make other people scarred by his speech, Yoo Kyung still loves him no matter what. But is that the foolishness that shows the stupidity of Seo Yoo Kyung, em, it’s up to you guys to interpret it.
I might be a little bit biased, but I have my concrete reason behind my statement and that is the reason why I love the drama most out of all, even the story fame worldwide, Boys Over Flower did not have such integrity in the storyline (basically it’s something adapted, soo…. yeah, whatever).
I recommend you to watch and create understanding of realism in the drama. How real the laughter is, and how real the quarrel is. I just can’t can get enough of the drama because I can see and feel myself as the actor. I feel that I was the one acting what I am watching. It is as if someone else in replacement of myself. The realistic elements made me feel that this drama can relate to human feelings and emotions the best. Though it’s not too touchy moochy, kissing here and there, on the neck on the forehead on the palm on the lips, but at least, it shows how work and love life can be a division and create a great understanding of human emotions.
You see, a man who scolds you at work since he’s the boss and a man at home being lovey dovey with you, is two different man, but only with one reason of why he did so, he loves you. He scolded you for your own good and he treats you even better outside work for your strength to keep on energizing.
So, are you anticipate with this drama? If not, it’s ok. Don’t go blame me with all the criticism I’ve done here, but take it as an education of how it could create a better scenario of the drama industry. I’m a fan of any dramas, it’s just that some storyline aren’t really realistic enough that it can make me go, “duuhh”.
People has different hearts and thoughts, so you might like and might dislike, but anyways, this is my review on the most favourited drama in my whole 21 years of life. PASTA.
The twisted faith, of one reason, the Goldfishes
Hanui Lee, I like her a lot in this drama. Though she is the past of Chef Choi Hyun Wook when they were in Italy, she pursue Career over Love. She is charismatic and lovely, there’s nothing to hate on her in this drama. And, she’s beautiful!!!
Kim San (the known Romantic Alex) is playing the Daddy Long Legs for Seo Yoo Kyung. He has been in love with her for the past 3 years, since she started working and always giving her the strength to keep on being a cook.
The ladies who helped out a bit with the story plot who were kicked out after 2 days working with the new Chef
The three Italy-Graduate Cooks (smoking HOT
)
The Korean Cooks who worked hard to accomplish their dream; Going to Italy
This man is the only cruel creature in this drama, he got on my nerves every second he went out on screen!
This is when both of them spent their night together to buy some cheap and good fishes. During this episode,
Seo Yoo Kyung tells Choi Hyun Wook, the Chef, that in the future, when she can only cook one meal for only one special customer, she would only listen to the customer. If the customer wants it saltier or sweeter, she’ll do it. Disregard the fact whether the taste can completely burnt out the real taste of the food. *aw, she knows how to be romantic at times.
They both came back home from Donghae and Chef Hyun Wook wants Yoo Kyung to win over Chef Oh Sae Young, so he brought her to his apartment and together work out the Pasta.
Okay, I really think this part is the most memorable part. Chef said that; “There is nothing pretty on you, but I don’t know whether this is the effect from the alcohol, but I think you eye is okay.” Then he kissed her right eye. “Since you eye is equal both sides, so I should kiss the other eye.” and the best thing is that, when she became so flustered after the kiss, she went red, really really red that it shows to us, the viewers who are watching passionately. Definitely realistic!
Even after him confessing his love, he remains being the “evil” chef to Seo Yoo Kyung. As long as she can learn and earn more knowledge in cooking, he will help her and scold her till death! hahaha
I like this scene when Chef asked Chef Oh Sae Yeong to ask Yoo Kyung to cook the Ginseng Pasta and she received a great praise from Chef’s Chef.
In the end, the happy ending
The Korea Cook Team managed to go to Italy, thanks to Chef’s Lady, Seo Yoo Kyung who came to the rescue. And, will she go to Italy or not, you watch it.
